I had extra vodka from the bitters experiment so... What else can you do but make coffee liqueur. My aunt used to make this stuff for holiday gifts. I remember her brewing coffee; adding vodka + sugar to it; the elixir was ready in 2 wks.
I had a different approach- using the tincture making process, I steeped coffee, vanilla bean, cassia, cacao beans, sugar + coconut flakes. The blend smells amazing. I can hardly wait until the 8wks are up!
