People seem to go ga-ga over Grocery Outlet- Bargain Markets in this town. Whenever I peruse the aisles, I find some of the most unusual things like this Seaweed Crunch. Made in Korea, this tasty snack is based on a traditional monk snack where strips of fresh kelp are painted with a paste made of glutinous rice flour and water; then fried. This snack is just yummy! Light. Crispy. And fairly healthy. It's a great change of pace from the roasted seaweed or snap pea crisps. And at $1.49 a bag- totally a bargain!
